I want to get the quickest CPU for running mathematical modelling and algorithms on my T5600. The PC runs single programs, so doesn't have to contend with multiple programs running at the same time. It currently has the original Xeon E5-2620 2.00GHz. Any advice would be very welcome, thanks.

Hi All,I have a Dell Precision 5820 workstation that has 2x NVMe drives and 2x3.5" hot swap bays.Am I able to swap out one of the NVMe to a 3.5" bay? Cannot see how to easily pull out the NVMe - obviously the NVMe drive is easy to get out but the caddy sitting in the bay not so easy.... H

Following the demise of my Quadro RTX4000, I am pleased with the performance of the replacement: an MSI RTX 4070 Super Gaming X Slim White. So many recent cards in the RTX 4000 Super series are too large for the 5820. It took some time to research the graphics cards that would fit - thank you

I know theres another post about on how the 3.3v/5v rail should be able to output more then 142w , but i have been thinking about using a corsair cx 750, but it has a 130w 3.3v/5v output. What could be the risks to skimp out the 3.3v/5v rail. (My model does not have a dvd rw) TIA :)

I picked up a Precision 3660 over the holidays. While outfitting it I came across the hot swap bays Dell makes. I was able to easily locate a drive caddy for 3.5in. But I am having a heck of a time finding the actual flexbay to mount to the chassis. the image is from the 5860
