P2419H, AC511M Soundbar, no sound, #3

Hi,
I've had a Dell P2419H monitor for a while now but I decided to buy a AC511M Soundbar so I can connect my Amazon Fire Stick into the HDMI and have sound coming out of the AC511M Soundbar.
I followed the instructions and tried to connect the speakers into all of the USB ports on the monitor but the AC511M Soundbar speakers don't seem to work. Frustrating because I tried a different USB speaker the same way an it's not working.
Can anyone help please?

i have the same problem. do i need to buy a usb b to usb a adapter and try to connect the speaker usb cable?

The P2419H does not have built-in speakers nor audio line-out. The USB ports are for upstream, downstream signals only. To complete your setup and receive audio from Amazon Fire stick, you will need bluetooth soundbar.
