Hello,

Does it hang on the same one every time?

You may try a flea power drain then check the update again:

drain flea power (shut down, disconnect power cables and Network cables, hold in power button 20 seconds with cords removed). After flea power drain, system has to set for 3 minutes for DRAC to reset without any power plugged in, then plug in NIC and power but wait 2 minutes before power on to give DRAC time to initialize.

You may also try doing updates in smaller groups like two at a time see if it goes through or you find the update that is hanging.

Can you confirm you are on a R640?

I ask because I can't see all the firmware listed in the picture but I see 1.66.65 on the picture.

This is an old iDRAC version for a 12th gen (R620) server not a 14th gen (R640)

Hi,

The downloaded firmware update might be corrupt. Instead of F10 update, please try using the Lifecycle Controller. The Lifecycle Controller can be accessed by pressing F12 during boot. You can try different update method as in this article https://dell.to/4aVFGYL
