T7810 and SAPPHIRE NITRO RADEON RX 580

anyone fitted a RX 580 or similar to the T7810?

just wondering how's the fit, and can the back (gpu slot cover) close properly?

many thanks!!

These are the various T7810 systems which were outfitted with AMD RX 580 and were benchmarking for performance  https://www.userbenchmark.com/PCBuilder?searchTerm=precision%207810%20rx580

This specific system used Sapphire RX 580  https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/53310666

In case of the side panel can not be closed, users can remove the rivets and safely knocked out the stabilizer bar without damaging to the side panel.

Safest option is to buy a graphics card that is not higher than the standard sloth height. Then you don't need to modify your side panel.

I got a GTX 1080 founders edition in that system without modification. For a newer workstation I bought the Inno3D RTX 4070 Ti Super Twin X2 which is standard slot height, 2x slot width and will fit in most workstations.
