U2723QE, USB device not recognized, #2

I'm having exactly the same issue as this with a Dell U2723QE monitor that is about a year old now.

  • Microsoft Surface Laptop 3
  • Windows 11 Pro
  • Monitor firmware M2T102,
  • USB C, plugged into the Monitor's primary USB C port that provides 90w power (#15)

To receive assistance from Dell chat support, they need to verify the warranty status and ownership. Then you must troubleshoot with them.  Click the "Get Help Now" icon on the right to start a live chat session. If already out of warranty, click here for the Dell out of warranty offering.

Clarify.

#15 USB-C downstream is incorrect.

#5 USB-C in (Video + Data. Up to 90W power delivery back to the PC) is correct.
