Windows Hello - External USB IR Camera
Has anyone managed to get a modern Latitude 5*** laptop to work with an external USB Windows Hello IR camera whilst the lid is shut?
After some googling I see this has been an issue in the past & seems to be related to power settings, see: Windows Hello with lid closed | DELL Technologies
I have tried disabling the internal camera and changing the registry keys in the above article & disabling “Enable Lid Switch” in the BIOS.
I have a Lenovo laptop and everything works perfectly fine.

RESOLVED
For anyone who see's this, I solved this by going to Start > Settings > Accounts > Sign-in Options > Additional settings & enabling "Sign in with an external camera or fingerprint reader" - This does require a restart.
