WHEA-Logger Event 17 fills up the event viewer screen.

Hi,

A lot of WHEA-Logger event fills up the event viewer screen. I tried the fixes, including a clean install of Windows 11 23H2, and there was no change.

Fortunately, no problems like BSoD have occurred so far. It also does not bother my daily operation.

I suspect my PC has a hardware problem. I ran the BIOS diagnostic tool, but It did not find any problem. It seems that the hardware looks healthy.

The error points to Intel PCI Express root port #13 9DB4. I do not know which device is connected, though.

Device PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9DB4&SUBSYS_089E1028&REV_F0\3&11583659&0&EC was configured.

Driver Name: pci.inf

Do you know how to fix this or how to troubleshoot it?

Thanks, Regard,

It seems like oem3.inf is overridden by pci.inf.

Maybe the messages are stopped by removing Intel PCI express port #13. However, I do not know the consequences and it is a legitimate way.

Does anyone have the same issue?

Thanks,

Have the same issue event 17, i send my Alienware x15 r2 to tech support, they change my motherboard about 2 times and still have the issue. and still i have no solution or clue what´s happening with my AW.

i guess is a failure of the construction of the new alienware X series of electrical contact or interference.
