DIS transferred warranty to India, India support denied

My laptop had hardware issues(manufacturing defect as acknowledged by dell support India)while in India. I contacted DIS (Dell International Support) which transferred the warranty and ownership from USA to India to enable me to get support. However, India support says I have onsite warranty so I can't have my pc repaired in India? How is this possible? If it was the case, the DIS would have denied transferring the warranty.

It sounds more like you do not have an onsite service plan -- without which ownership can be transferred, but the warranty cannot.   If the system has the standard 12 month return to depot warranty (or the system model in question is not sold in India), the warranty is valid only in the country of original purchase.

@ejn63​  I do have an onsite service plan and both warrenty and ownership was transferred, but support says my onsite is limited to the us
