I highly recommend using these settings in your wireless router to get everything to communicate with very minimal problems.

Update the firmware in your wireless router. Manufacturer's website, make & Model needed.

Broadcast SSID(You may want to change this to make it easier to connect)

Use WPA-PSK(TKIP) Security(WPA Personal). Most wireless devices work best with this type of security.

Mixed b and g mode(n if available)(Use this mode only if using a print server and/or USB wireless adaptrer(s))

Use channels 1, 6 or 11. Most devices work better on these channels.

Keep the setting at DHCP.

Do NOT use Mac Address Filtering

Save and exit. Power everything off for 30 seconds. Power everything back on, wait 30 seconds, now try to connect.

Thank you the WPA-PSK(TKIP) Security change seemed to fix the problem with internet connection drops.

Hi

My router has modes "Auto108Mbps" or "g and b".

Currently it is Auto108Mbps, all other setting are as per recommended:

Channel: 6

Securiy: WPA-PSK[TKIP]

Should I change the mode to g and b ??
