My company has purchased Dell for the past 12 years.  While we have never considered Dell to have the highest quality PCs, we have been very satisfied with the warranty coverage and technical support.  However, Dell here in Thailand has refused to repair a Vostro 3450 we purchased 11 months ago, stating that the warranty does not cover anything related to the exterior the computer.   The plastic panel around the screen is falling off, as well as the front and back panels - not due to any damage but to poor workmanship.  After only 11 months.

The Dell service staff here in Thailand have been extremely unhelpful and arrogant.

If Dell cannot or won't provide adequate warranty coverage, there is no reason left to consider Dell.  Therefore, this is the end of the line for Dell as far as our company is concerned.

And Dell wonders why its market share continues to slide?
