Re: What are Recommended Video Cards for XPS 8300 - with No PSU Upgrade?
Tulanian
Following-up: I purchased a XFX Double D HD-687A-ZDFC Radeon HD 6870 and it fit very easily in my XPS 8300. It is whisper-quiet, and the operating temperature is very cool. No modifications to the power supply. Thanks for your assistance!

Trying to decide on a desktop
CDR88
We currently have a Dell Inspiron 530 with Windows Vista, Pentium dual 1.8 GHz, 2GB RAM, 32 bit, and the mid-level gaming graphics card has gone bad. We're looking to purchase a new or refurbished desktop for home. I don't want an "all-in-one". Most websites lead people toward business...

Dim 4700 graphic card replacement
hgershman
Not sure if my other post will reach this forum. I apologize for duplicating, if it does. Need an emergency graphic card for my Dim 4700. Wanted a Radeon 4670 as recommended everywhere. All I see locally is a 1GB model. Is that a problem for the 4700? I bought a cheesy (and expensive!)4350 (512...

Aurora graphics options
Hermetic23
I am wondering why the GeForce GTX 285 isn't offered as an option for the Auroras. The more power hungry 295 is an option for the Aurora, and the 285 is an option for the Area 51 so it shouldn't be a technical problem right? I would probably grab one of those machines right away, especially...
