Ok i have a dell 690 workstation with dual 2x Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU 5150 @ 2.66GHz and I am using windows 7 home premium and when i use Cpu-z it only shows one of the dual cpu's, but in my bios it shows two ...I was reading the reason for this is that I am using home instead of another version of windows 7 ? Is this True ? or is there some way to turn it on thru the bios ?

  • Home Premium is limited to ONE physical processor. You need to upgrade to Professional or Ultimate (or use Enterprise) to use two physical processors.
