So I've been given a T7600 which I'm fixing up to be a decent machine for editing/After Effects/3D work.
I have a question about hard drives.
I've ordered a Crucial MX300 525GB to run the boot and apps off, I'll get some half decent HDD to keep files on and now I need to make a decision on the main drive that I'll have live projects on.
Doing some quick research I can see something like the Samsung 950 pro is the way to go for speed.
However the T7600 motherboard doesn't have a PCI Express 3.0 x4 connection that I'm aware of.
You can purchase Pcie adaptors but I'm wondering if this would make the most of the card in this system?
Or do I go for an Intel 750 drive that has a normal Pcie connection?
Or is there another solution that better, cheaper perhaps?
Would really appreciate some help here!
