    I ordered my Alienware Aurora PC in january 2nd. Have been waiting for a while to see any news on when it will be ready for shipment. Apparently, my first order got cancelled and out of nowhere a new one came up. Now, I never read anywhere in Dell's website about them cancelling orders and just throwing...

    You should be disheartened. My EDD is 2/15 (I chose super slow shipping) and my estimated ship date is tomorrow. The website says "in production" and the magical phone number says "Build" stage. No way they get my PC up and shipped by tomorrow. I went with the 5870 card and nothing...

    There are no experts at Alienware now. They'll burn it in as part of their normal burn in process but I doubt there is anything done that much differently than you'd find on a Studio XPS. I'm sure there's probably a few more QC checks (ie. make sure fins on case raise and lower) but there...
