Wyse vWorkspace provides built-in load balancing capabilities for the Connection Broker role to build a scalable and reliable VDI solution out of the box.
3rd Party load balancers, like the ZEN NLB Appliance used in this example, can become usefull when multiple servers are used for hosting the Secure Access Service, Web Access portal or the User Profile Management role.
The attached Best Practices Guide explains how to set up Load Balancing for a Pilot or small Environment up to a larger scale Setup, where multiple VLANs are in place to protect the coporate Network when being accessed from the outside.
Update: The latest Edition now includes instructions how to load balance User Profile Management Storage Server.
How to load the Certificates which are installed in the Secure Servers?
Would you mind please give an instruction on how to load balance the traffic in a better way in conjunction with vWorkspace internal Load Balancing Rules along with Zen NLB..?
I'm facing a bit difficulty in distributing the load properly between the server roles as I can see manjority of the traffic distant to port 80 / 443 are handled only by one server...
Any thought on this..?
