We seem to be having an issue with the connection profile failing on the latest update of the plugin (1.5.1). When configuring the idrac/host credentials, it constantly fails communicating and will not pass the test. I've logged into the plugin using readonly and tested ping which was successful to both the host and idrac IPs.
You can try removing it from Connection Profile then adding it back. Otherwise I would suggest getting the log bundle from the admin portal and calling support. You will need to provide a hardware service tag with pro support and tell the call director you need the VMware support cue. The log bundle should tell you what's going on.
