Dell VIS Creator can create policy-based automation. There are four components:

  1. Business groups - Allows the grouping of virtual workloads, resources, policies, processes, and management access controls
  2. Authorized users - IDs authorized users to access workloads and use physical resources along with the specific rights of each user
  3. Service blueprints - A catalog of available virtual workloads containing plans & specs for building, managing, reclaiming, decommissioning and archiving each workload
  4. Resource reservations - Reserving dedicated compute resources

Dell VIS Creator is an automated way of delivering and managing IT services that reduces service delivery times and controls VM sprawl. Below is a figure that exemplifies Dell VIS Creator environment.
