If you come from the HP world of systems management, you are most likely familiar with their SmartStart installation tool. In the Dell™ OpenManage™ toolset, the equivalent product is the Dell OpenManage Systems Build and Update Utility (SBUU).

SBUU is a bootable CD image that will walk you through the installation of operating systems, deploy firmware and BIOS updates, and optionally create a script so you can capture and re-create the process across many servers.
