The Dell OpenManage Plug-in for Oracle Enterprise Manager enables monitoring of Dell servers, storage and networking devices in environments managed by the Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) console. It also supports mapping of Oracle database workloads to Dell hardware for quicker fault detection, and allows an administrator to launch a specific Dell management console to perform troubleshooting, configuration, and management activities. This plug-in protects a customer’s existing investment in the Oracle Enterprise Manager console and helps ease the integration and management of Dell devices. Please note, this plug-in requires the installation of Dell’s OpenManage Essentials (v1.3 or higher, preferably on a separate server) to collect and relay information to the plug-in.
The OpenManage plug-in for Oracle Enterprise Manager enables customers to discover Dell devices, provide their inventory information, and allows customers to periodically monitor the health of the following Dell devices:
1. Dell OpenManage Plug-in for Oracle Enterprise Manager, v2.0, A00
2. Dell OpenManage Plug-in for Oracle Enterprise Manager, v1.0, A00

Overview of Dell OpenManage Plug-in Version 1.0 for Oracle Enterprise Manager 12c
I work for a company called Entuity, a strategic Dell partner and I'm also a former Oracle employee. It is excellent to see Dell and Oracle providing an integration to reduce the management complexities in an Oracle environment. At this time, only Dell Networking products are supported in this OME plug-in. For customers who need multi-vendor network management with support for Oracle Enterprise Manager, Entuity makes the only Oracle-certified plug-in. Talk to Dell about the Entuity solution if this applies to you.
