The DCIM Power Topology Profile describes the specific class, property, and method behavior of the CIM and
DCIM classes to represent and manage power topology modeled using the DMTF Common Information Model (CIM) core and extended model definitions.

The Power Topology Profile extends the management capabilities of referencing profiles by adding the capability to represent a hierarchy of power sources: power supplies and external power domains, and their redundancies. The profile also provides information on the client configuration of the power hierarchy and profile versioning for the schema implementation version information.
