Description of Issue:
ESXi 4.1 server details not showing the version of OS /patch level in OME server
Not all servers are affected. currently have 10 servers in total. All servers are same built and patch level and all were installed OMSA 7.0
Dell Troubleshooting tool shows same number of entry for the working and non working ESXi 4.1
working means the OS version is seen as an entry in OME while none working is otherwise
CIM OEM providers is enabled
additional information OME server and all ESXi servers belong to the same IP range
Thanks for your post. To understand the issue better, you are saying on some ESXi 4.1 servers you don't see the value for OS revision in the OS information table, right?
Do you see Software Agent Information table for those servers? If so does it show the Agent name as VMWare ESXi <OS version> <Build number>? Do you see other inventory tables like NIC, processor, memory information etc for those servers?
