2nd question: How do I stop an M910 from configuring memory each time it is rebooted?
Thx,
John Bradshaw
John,
I'm guessing that you refer to the memory test that is being performed at reboot, which can be quite time consuming (for a good cause though)?
You can disable that by entering BIOS/UEFI and go the the Memory Settings-category and alter this setting:
System Memory Testing
(Enabled default)
Specifies whether system memory tests are run at system boot. Options are Enabled and Disabled.
You can find more information about system setup options on page 139 and forward in this PDF:

Thx Andreas. Very helpful.
I was hoping that I could just hit Escape or Space Bar to stop the Memory test manually though
