"Gabriel,Hi, it’s Joe with Dell EqualLogic. Did you ensure that you setup the Array’s dedicated management port? Then set the SCOM server SNMP trap receiver configured to point to the management port IP. Also check this link for SNMP setup: http://www.systemcentercentral.com/BlogDetails/tabid/143/IndexId/13020/Default.aspxIf still having problem, post the SCOM question on the Server discussion section of the Dell Community at http://en.community.dell.com/support-forums/servers/f/177.aspxRegards,Joe"
Joe - I am having a similar problem but on OPS Manager 2012. The node gets recognized but only as a network device. Is there a document or best practices showing how to setup the management pack with 2012?
Thanks in advance for your help.
TJ
Sorry, but as far as I know th SCOM is only compatable with System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) 2007 R2/SP1 and System Center Essentials (SCE) 2007 SP1 at this time.
Here is the link to the latest version, and the compatability matrix: www.dell.com/.../DriverFileFormats

When can we expect MP's for SCOM 2012 I am having this issue as well and am unable to monitor any of my Blade Center's or EqualLogic SAN's....might have to go IBM if they don't get some MP's out soon.... :)
I've got the same problem - using SCOM2012 - Monitoring of the EqualLogic SAN is my missing piece. Most SCOM 2007 MPs still seem to work fine in 2012 - if the Dell EqualLogic one doesn't then news of when a fixed 2012 version will be released would be really useful.
Sorry, but still no confirmed date has been set. HIT 4.5 (Microsoft Edition), is due soon per the Dell Storage Forum Boston 2012: en.community.dell.com/.../dell-announces-equallogic-software-updates.aspx
As usual, if you have specific questions, it’s best to contact your sales rep, to discuss future release features in more detail.
