This page will collect a number of articles/documents showing how to create use multipath input/output (MPIO) for failover and load balancing with various Dell/EMC and Dell™ PowerVault™ Internet SCSI (iSCSI) storage arrays.

The first article shows how to use the Microsoft® iSCSI Initiator along with EMC's PowerPath to create multipathed connections to a Dell/EMC CX3 combo array.

The second article shows how to create multipathed connections to the PowerVault NX1950 using just the MS iSCSI Initiator.

The third article shows how to create connections to our new PowerVault MD3000i storage array with the Microsoft iSCSI Initiator and the Dell MD3000i Device Specific Module for Multi-path code.
