Suggestion: Provide a link to this document from www.Equallogic.com!!
Is that correct that the only supported Brocade switch is the RX line?
why does it say the PowerConnect M8428-k does not support DCB when lots of other literature says it does?
@geoffrose...While it supports DCB, the last time we tested it for use with EqualLogic, it had an outstanding issue with DCBx negotiation for iSCSI (applying settings listed in the iSCSI TLV correctly). We simply have not retested it due to higher priority projects.
is dedup coming in PS6500 ?
Thank you for the suggestion! I have added a link to this document on our website. It may be found at the top of our Compatibility Matrix Page. I very much appreciate the feedback.
Re: Geoffrose & DCB. The 8024 supports DCB with FCoE, but not iSCSI. It's design lacks support TLV and PFC. Those two features are specific to support DCB with iSCSI.
