MD3000 Battery backup Critical alerts
Received the following three alerts from one of our MD3000. Upgraded Firmware to latest revision only last week so no issue there. Can I ignore as these have not recurred for nearly 48 hours and I don't want to open a support call.
Event Error Code: 7300
Event occurred: 14-Nov-2009 12:55:21
Event Message: Battery backup unit overheated
Component type: Battery Pack
Component location: Enclosure 0
Event Error Code: 730f
Event occurred: 14-Nov-2009 12:55:27
Event Message: Incomplete battery learn cycle
Component type: Battery Pack
Component location: Enclosure 0
Event Error Code: 730f
Event occurred: 14-Nov-2009 12:55:32
Event Message: Incomplete battery learn cycle

Hi Jsmith62,
I checked some of the other forums, did a few quick searches & didn't find much on these errors... Unless some of the site's members have comments, I think your best bet is to get with support.

Thanks Jeff. I've done so and shipped logs. Engineer tells me that when I flash the firmware this does a power reset and this can raise the Error 7300 on the controller battery.
