Can you load 3rd party apps to these Storage Server powered NAS devices?

They run Windows Storage Server 2008 Standard edition - http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd573315(WS.10).aspx

So in general any apps supported on that platform. Backup apps and agents would be the most logical. What application are you wanting to load on the system ?

A replication program called WAFS from a company called GlobalScape. The software keeps two file shares in total synch while performing file locking across the WAN. So two sites can share projects without worrying about how made the last update. My needs are small at the moment, i only have about 8 - 10 gig of data to be shared. Until some of my other sites catch on to what we are dong.
