Auto-Snapshot Manager and Cluster Shared Volume
Hi,
We have one volume on our EQL PS6000 that is used by our High Availability Cluster (2008R2) to store all our Virtual Machines, I have installed Auto-Snapshot Manager on each of the cluster nodes but when I run the software on any node I only see the Virtual Machines that are currently active on that specific node and Clone, Replica, Snapshot are set to No. Does each VM need its own volume? Is it possible for ASM to become cluster aware so that machines can be moved about?
We are running 3.3.1.0
Thanks

RE: Auto-Snapshot Manager and Cluster Shared Volume
Hello,
At this time, ASM/ME does not support CSV volumes.
This is noted in the Release notes for ASM/ME
Clustered Shared Volumes (CSV) – You can see clustered shared volumes in ASM/ME, but you cannot perform any ASM/ME operations on a CSV.
This is expected to be supported in a future version of HIT.
