Site Administrator reporting - Audit our sites to report on content?

This question has been answered by smartyne

Looking at a few different products, and would like to know the below information before discussing any demo's with sales....

We are looking to audit our sites to report on their content, report on what has been added since (given date range), and report on site growth.

Is this possible with any versions of Site Admin?

From chapter 4 of 5.0's user guide...

Activity reports:
– Usage
– Activity
– Daily Usage
– Content Changes

Content changes seem to fit the bill....but can this be automated?  Any insight would be great.

(posting on bahalf of another...)

Thank you,

RS

  • Starting from version 4.5.0 (from 4.5.1 for 'site owners') report 'Content Changes' has been included to Site Administrator for Sharepoint. Report can export data to csv file. To understanding what has been added (because  report shows any changes including deletions and modifications) you should use events such as 'Site Added', 'List Added', 'Item Added'. Export to csv can be scheduled.

Site growth trend can be seen in 'Site metrics' report.
