In order to take advantage of the Dell Catalog for SCCM, a few prerequisites have to be satisfied.

  1. Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2007 or later installed.
  2. Microsoft WSUS installed, and Software Updates point configured on your ConfigMgr site server.
  3. Microsoft System Center Updates Publisher installed.
  4. Internet Access, or catalog (servers - ftp://ftp.dell.com/catalog/DellSDPCatalog.cab, workstations - ftp://ftp.dell.com/catalog/DellSDPCatalogPC.cab) downloaded.
  5. Certificate trust between SCCM, WSUS, and the clients.
  6. Appropriate GPO set on client systems.
