Updating the firmware doesn’t work with Ubuntu’s software center

This question is not answered

On the Dell XPS 13 9360 updating from firmware version 1.3.2 to 1.3.5 by clicking on the CAB file [1], I am asked if I want to open it with the software center, I say yes, and the applications opens. I am asked, if I want to update. I click yes, but nothing happens then.

Using the command line tool works though with `fwupdmgr install path/to/update.cab`, after connect the device to power.
