Looking around the web, many people are getting this in both Ubunut and Fedora
I used to see those on my kabylake XPS13 9360. I saw that error at boot and on every resume from November 2016 until Feb 4 when I installed an updated BIOS (file name XPS_9360_1.3.2.exe, sha1 8fea8ba38a5afccbc65436898d377324fdc60e7a).
I would expect the 5520 to receive an updated BIOS to address the problem like the 9360.
I have heard the same from other users like you. Hoping Dell will release an update soon
The Problem still occurs with BIOS Version 1.2.4
The Problem still occurs with BIOS Version 1.5.0
