Every time I buy a new Dell as opposed to a refurb with Windows 7 professional on them, they never have a product key sticker on them. I am looking at buying 6 new Dell Inspiron 3000s. If I have to reload the OS on any of them, how do I get my product key or is there another way to activate them?
Hopefully you didn't buy any with Bing Editions.

Didn't buy these yet. Don't think they are Bing but thanks. Still not seeing anything in your link about windows 7 product keys?
If you are getting Windows 7 Professional via downgrade rights from Windows 8.1 Pro, OEM SLP will be used. See here for details:
Thanks, I think that is what I need. Jesul petes Microsoft makes it so difficult now.
OEM SLP with generic keys has been used for Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7 in a similar manner. The key on the COAs were never used during the factory install hence it doesn't matter if you have the COA which will be the case for systems using downgrade rights.
This activation mechanism was easily pirated so Microsoft changed to using unique OEM SLP keys for Windows 8 and Windows 8.1.
Finally the OEM license of both Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 will be upgraded to Windows 10 in the 29th of July 2015. The upgrade offer will be valid for a year:
If you aren't in a rush to purchase you can wait till then to get a system shipped with Windows 10 OEM.
