Hi, OMCI 7.6.x.xxx has been working a treat until today. we received a new batch of Optiplex 990 (we have some from last year out on desks) the new batch of 990's are reporting chassis intrusion issues from OMCI notification even though Chassis intrusion is turned off. i have put on the latest OMCI & it seems to resolve the issue. Now my question is.
Does dell OMCI 8.0.1.150 work on legacy equipment i.e back to Optiplex GX280/GX520's?
if I deploy 8.0.1.150 across all dell machines when is the best time to update the SMS_DEF.mof with the new OMCI 8.x extensions?
Will the OLD SCCM OMCI reports (http://media.community.dell.com/en/dtc/attach/omci_sccm_whitepaper.pdf) work with the new extensions? Is there new reports written for 8.x?

Yes OMCI 8.x is applicable to older versions of hardware. I would update the SMS_DEF.mof after the OMCI 8.x deployment is complete. You will need to update any reports that you have as the SCCM database will use different table/views for OMCI 8.x

The OMCI 7.x Whitepaper that included the reports has not been updated yet. I'll check with the OMCI team regarding the plans to update it.

Tried 3 different internet connection & get a 404 error. Webpage cannot be found. maybe its a UK issue.
Any chance of updating the •OMCI/SCCM white paper as it hasnt been updated & only supports OMCI 7.6.
