Debian not recognizing H200 controller
I have a R815 with a H200 controller, that I need to put Debian 5 on. The install doesn't have the driver for a H200. I have been able to get through the install of Lenny but on reboot the machine locks up. I have to have Debian per a software vendors request. My first response was I have to purchase a server class machine to install a workstation OS???? I have asked said vendor if I could use another "flavor" of Linux but they have to have debian. urghhhhhh, From my reseach it doesn't seems as if I am going to be able to utilize the H200, but have to revert to a software RAID, UNLESS someone, anyone, might be able to shed some light on the situtation....
