I had installed on the server STATISTICA 12 worked fine, but when I converted a physical server to a virtual (p2v) then started the program does not run and knocks error: The desired vendor daemon is down. 
In the logs the following error:

  • The host address has changed since you moved the installation of Statistica from a physical to virtual server.  You'll need to contact Dell Statistica and get an updated license.

  • Contact licensing at https://support.software.dell.com/licensing-assistance.   You will need to explain your situation to them, send in your license file, and then they will help you.
