multiple comparisons

This question is answered

Hello

We would like to do multiple comparisons (Bonferonni) between 3 groups using statistica.

We used the non parametrical Kruskall wallis test (because we have 3 groups and small samples, n=10; n=13; n=14).

We would like to do a post hoc test to correct the multiple comparisons.

Which post hoc test (after Kruskall wallis) in Statistica can we use?

Thank you for your response

  • Hello,

Statistica uses a Bonferroni adjustment to compute the P-values associated with each post-hoc comparison of mean ranks  of all pairs of groups in  Kruskal Wallis test . This test is available under Statistics|Nonparametrics|Comparing multiple indep. samples.

More details about Kruskal-Wallis ANOVA and Median Test - Quick Tab  can be also found in Statistica electronic manual. Click "Multiple comparisons of mean ranks for all groups" to get results of post-hoc pairwise comparison.
