About Barton George

Barton George Barton joined Dell last year as their cloud computing and scale out evangelist. In this role he works with customers, analysts and press as well acting as an ambassador to the cloud computing community. Prior to Dell Barton spent 13 years at Sun Microsystems in a variety of roles from manufacturing to product and corporate marketing. Barton began his professional career with a four year stint in Tokyo where he worked for Sony working with ISVs for their UNIX-based workstation. Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, Barton headed east for higher education and attended Williams College and Harvard Business School.
