Dell HPC Engineers have been selected to lead two Birds of a Feather (BOF) sessions at SC11. Designed to be interactive and informative, the BOFs are non-promotional and generally deliver some great technical content. The BOFs Dell is session leaders on include, HPC NFS (Not your Father's Storage) by Dr. Jeff Layton, and HPC Visualization: Seeing is Understanding by Elliot Berger. See details below.

Dell Birds of a Feather

HPC Visualization: Seeing is Understanding

Hosted by Elliot Berger

Nov. 17 @ 5:30 p.m.

ABSTRACT:
Visualization has become an essential tool in scientific research, spanning many areas of science and engineering research and design. This session will share first-hand experiences in conceptualization, planning, design and implementation of visualization solutions, from entry-level to the largest clusters and walls. Various speakers from vendors and users will share their experiences.

HPC NFS (Not your Father's Storage)
