Recent TechCenter Activities

  • Integrating Active Directory. The brief DRAC and AD discussion thread from last week provides several resources for learning more about options for integrating Active Directory in Dell remote access controllers (RACs). The thread also includes information about creating and managing certificates.
  • Lifecycle Controller Page Updates. A number of screen shots and additional information were added to update the Updates Using USB with Lifecycle Controller page. Take a look for some great tips on using recent embedded management features for applying server updates from within the system.

Favorite of the Week

  • “As of now, all 11th-generation servers, including the PowerEdge R410, are fully supported by all of our cluster installation/monitoring/management middleware,” said an expert at last Tuesday’s Dell PowerEdge R410: HPC Node of the Future discussion. “Platform Cluster Manager and Clustercorp Rock+ with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.3 are both fully tested and qualified on the PowerEdge R410. We also support Windows HPC Server 2008 for customers interested in Windows applications.” Check out the full transcript.
