I have a Dell m5010 laptop, I am trying to boot up into a secured portal from a boot CD and flash drive. I load the CD in the disk drive and I insert the flash drive in the usb port, and then I power off/on.Once Windows starts I hit F12 to boot from CD It will start the boot process from the CD but then it just freezes. I can take the same boot CD and flash drive and boot from them on my HP desktop computer. Is there some reason why my new Dell laptop will not complete this boot from the CD/flash drive?

Ensure that you have any critical drivers included in your boot CD. If one is missing, the boot process could be halted like you are experiencing.
Hi, I have a Toschiba hard drive that I want to install in the second location in my Inspiron 1720 laptop, ST: GZPWWG1. Where can I get the mounting plate and associated pin connection adapter? Will the second drive boot automatically, or do I need to do something to boot it?
My dell just got knock off my desk at college and when it was brought there was a 3 year warranty and need to know what to do. it will not work or even come on, and the case is broke, will you please let me know what to do with it.

i have a dell dimension 2350 and i did the dell diagnostics on it and after i was through i rebooted and when i did windows loaded up in safe mode and when i booted up everything came up like it should and all the programs worked it just when i booted all up a message screen poped up and said continue working in safe mode press yes or restore you system click no when i clicked no the system restore came up but the screen was black down to where is it said next or cancel so i couldnt choose anything and now my computer is running in safe mode and i cant get it off i dont have the disc and i also can get on internet withit in safe mode please could someone tell me what to do thanks

I've got a Dell 3000/w922AIO Printer.Well I uninstalled my Abby Fine Reader 5.0Sprint, YES by MISTAKE. But need to know which Drivers are the 'CORRECT ONES'. Without it I can not Scan to my Comp.So someone please help me out w/this problem. I'd Greatly appreciate it. Pete
I have a dell inspiron N5110 that is a piece of crap. My wife bought me this for Christmas through the major company she works for. It constantly locks up. The mouse is intermittent. And the battery does not last. I have done nothing to this system except use it. I have worked with IBM and Toshiba, Acer professionally. Your tech support is terrible. Aned here in Northern CA. there is no help.
I wish I could return this piece of crap. Instead I will buy one that works
I have a Dell Latitude D630 and I am having problems with my wi fi driver and I cannot get online,I received this computer as a Christmas gift and do not know much about it and what I can do to get it operational again.I tried recovery restore the system,and I think I may have knocked out the driver.
