When having AutoApply drivers set up in your Task Sequence in SCCM 2012, it does not appear to be auto applying the updates properly because it is bombing out right during the driver installation portion of our TS.
After looking through the SMSTS.log files for awhile I found these lines:
Query = SELECT * FROM Win32_ComputerSystem WHERE model like "%Venue 11 Pro 5130%" TSManager 8/29/2016 8:15:06 AM 520 (0x0208)
Expand a string: root\cimv2 TSManager 8/29/2016 8:15:06 AM 520 (0x0208)
Expand a string: SELECT * FROM Win32_ComputerSystem WHERE model like "%Venue 11 Pro 5130%" TSManager 8/29/2016 8:15:06 AM 520 (0x0208)
So...it is looking for drivers for the Venue 11 Pro 5130 instead of for the Latitude 7275? Or am I missing something?
Ignore previous statement about Venue 11 Pro drivers. That is a step in our task sequence that i forgot about. However, having extreme difficulty getting these to install as part of a task sequence. I have tried using auto apply (like we do for 50 other models in our organization) and a manual TS step that specifically calls out the model number (which we do for mainly tablets). Both methods refuse to install a single driver from this pack. I am in the process of removing the drivers and re-importing them to see if that will make a difference.
Will there be a Windows 10 January 2017 update to this driver pack? The release schedule indicates there should have been one on the second Tuesday of this month.
We need the updated video drivers, (and others), as we are having to use the general support site to get the latest versions released.
The 7275 Intel Serial IO Driver and Intel Management Engine Components Installer are reporting the wrong versions to Dell Command | Update so it keeps re-installing them over and over. Any chance you guys can get that fixed?
