The A01 driver pack is not working with SCCM. After imaging Precision 7510 laptops the laptop will BSOD. The issue is related to the Nvidia graphics adapter. I extracted the latest driver from Nvidia.com and the computer images as normal.
I was able to get one of our cheaper Dell 7510s to image with the A01 pack, however when I tried to image our more expensive version I too got the BSOD for the NVidia Drivers. Doesn't appear as if those were updated in this pack? The page appears incomplete for me and at the AMD Driver section it just stops. I will probably have to go to the NVidia website to get the drivers just like JSD.
Kind of ridiculous the problems that have come up from these 7510s. I guess it proves that the more money you spend, doesn't necessarily get you a better product. My company has ~10,000 Dell computers and this high end 7510 costs almost $3000, have been spending 3 months trying to get BOTH of our 7510 types to image properly.... And now I run into this Driver issue while imaging? Whew......Almost at my wits end.
We're using the A02 driver pack and it's not blue screening and we have NVidia graphics cards.
What we are seeing however is the TPM device not being installed. Once we installed this hotfix from Microsoft then it appeared. support.microsoft.com/.../2920188
Just wondering if there is a driver missing or we need to install the hotfix during imaging? Anyone else seen something similar?
Using this driver CAB, and imaging with SCCM 2012 through PXE, this is installing without the USB drivers and without the touchscreen drivers. Also it seems that all new driver models from Dell require a BIOS update to work properly with TPM 1.2 or 2.0.
