The Intel USB 3.0 Root Hub or eXtensible Host Controller drivers cause Windows 7 to BSOD on Skylake processors in this package.
Same problem, no BSOD but usb just don't work after driver install, looks line no power on USB at all. Updating driver from Intel website solves the problem.
You'll likely need some sort of updated kernel mode driver for the Skylake support, especially for USB.
I've taken to using PNPUtil to install the USB3 drivers in my install image before capture, which I know is sort of against the purpose of a system like WDS but it works.
That being said, I've found you need to install Microsoft KB articles: KB 2685811, KB 2685813, KB 2990941 and KB 3087873. It's been OK since then.
