Hi Guys,

We are using Desktop Authority ver. 9, I've installed DA Reporting tool in my machine, but when I try to open it, it says 'authentication failed, access denied' I am logged in with admin account in DA when I am trying.

What could be the problem?

  • Hi, this is Diana from Support. This could be because of missing permissions or privileges from accessing the reports, sometimes caused by UAC. When opening the DA Reporting console, right-click and "Run as Administrator" or disable UAC on the DA server. 

    Does that work? If not, you should continue to create a Service Request at https://support.software.dell.com/create-service-request, if you haven’t already done so.
