Desktop Authority Essentials
We are using Desktop Authority ver. 9, I've installed DA Reporting tool in my machine, but when I try to open it, it says 'authentication failed, access denied' I am logged in with admin account in DA when I am trying.
What could be the problem?
Hi, this is Diana from Support. This could be because of missing permissions or privileges from accessing the reports, sometimes caused by UAC. When opening the DA Reporting console, right-click and "Run as Administrator" or disable UAC on the DA server.
Does that work? If not, you should continue to create a Service Request at https://support.software.dell.com/create-service-request, if you haven’t already done so.
