This integrated modular hybrid cloud system manages compute, storage and networking seamlessly with familiar tools including Microsoft System Center, Windows Server, Dell Systems Management with Solution deployment and management is highly automated reducing the time required to manage your infrastructure so you can apply valuable human talent to strategic projects
The HSC system is built on Dell's cloud platforms consistent with the Microsoft Cloud Platform System Premium. Sharing most of the infrastructure building blocks, HCS provides flexibility around CPU, Memory, Storage scale, Caching, Capacity among others to provide flexibility to tailor your solution for you workload or application needs.
In addition to the options available within the compute and storage blocks, HCS also have the ability to start small and grow either/both computer and storage blocks. You can start with a single 4 node compute block with 64 cores and add additional blocks as you grow your business. The same is true for Storage where you can start with 2 JBODs and grow up to 4 JBODs independent of compute.
HCS comes pre-configured with familiar management tools and portals such as VMM, OM, PDM, WAP among others. These consoles are already pre-configured to manage, monitor and consume resources within HCS.
As part of the HCS solution, Dell is deliver patches and updates for all components of the stack from Microsoft to Dell Software Dell firmware and BIOS updates once every quarter. These patches will be validated on a HCS system and bundled together before being delivered.
The patch and update tooling that is part of the solution will then apply these patches non-disruptively, sequenced to be dependency aware in an automated process, one system at a time.
