VMware vSphere 6.5 is the major release after the introduction of the point release vSphere 6.0 U2. The importance of vSphere 6.5 is the number of bug fixes contained in the software as well as a number of functionality updates. This version of ESXi is supported on Dell PowerEdge 13th and 12th generation platforms. Dell customized version of ESXi 6.5 is posted at Dell support page
