Dell launched the 12th Generation of PowerEdge servers—powered by Intel’s E5 26xx series processors and Patsburg C600 chipset. These processors (Socket-R compatible) have a maximum of 8 cores per socket and offers upto 32 logical cores with logical processors enabled in the BIOS.

These servers have been validated and certified on RHEL 6.1 x86_64 , RHEL 5.7 x86, RHEL 5.7 x86_64, SLES 11 SP2 x86_64 and SLES 10 SP4 x86_64.
 
Listed are the vendor hardware certification library (HCL) links for RHEL and SLES OSes on each of  the Dell 12th generation server.
