Earlier this week the Dell TechCenter team had the opportunity to tour the Americas Global Command Center located on the Dell Round Rock campus.  The Global Command Center has rows of workstations configured with 3 monitors each in front of a massive wall of screens (think NASA mission control) providing real-time data on customer issues along with weather and news that may be impacting those customers.  From there, the GCC team can monitor and respond to all inbound issues and track the shipment and installation of replacement parts to meet the service level agreements of their ProSupport customers.  Tours of the Americas Global Command Center are avalailable for customers that are visiting the Dell Round Rock campus, while the video below provides the virtual tour.
