CyberLink PowerCinema Resident Program has stopped working

  • I am running Vista Home Premium on a brand new Inspiron E1505.  After about 30 minutes of booting the laptop, I usually get this error message:  "CyberLink PowerCinema Resident Program has stopped working." I understand that this is a program that helps to automatically start DVD's when inserted in the drive and is not an essential program, but is anyone else having this problem and is there a fix?

    Thanks

the third sends me to a support page.

  • I found a solution to my problem. I deleted it from my startup file.  Simple. Everything still works.
